IDCPilot ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information through our applications and services (the "Platform"). We operate in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable global privacy standards.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide delivery management services:

Account Information

Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.

Operational Data

Route assignments, delivery statuses, and station information.

Location Data (IDC Driver App Only)

The IDC (Independent Delivery Contractor) Driver application uses your device's location services solely to determine proximity to delivery stations. GPS coordinates are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Technical Diagnostics

We automatically collect anonymized crash reports and performance metrics (e.g., device model, OS version) to ensure Platform stability.

3. How We Use Information

  • Facilitate communication between IDCs (Independent Delivery Contractors) and IDC (Independent Delivery Contractor) Drivers.
  • Provide real-time analytics and route monitoring for business operations.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Identify and resolve technical bugs or performance issues.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or lease user data. We share data only with service providers who perform essential functions on our behalf:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers.
  • Communication Services: To deliver essential transactional emails and security codes.
  • Diagnostic Services: To monitor application performance and stability.

All such providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain data only as long as an account is active. Users have the right to delete their accounts at any time through the App Settings.

Deletion Process: Once deletion is requested, your account is immediately deactivated. To prevent accidental data loss, data is held in a secure state for 60 days.

Permanent Removal: After the 60-day period, all personal data is permanently purged from our active databases.
